GeoparkLIFE Reports
Measuring and monitoring have been core to the GeoparkLIFE project. At the outset of the project there was an absence of solid baseline data on the impacts tourism was having on our heritage sites, our landscape, and on our communities. We commissioned a number of reports and undertook several surveys and studies to provide us with a rounded view of the tourism pressures that exist in the Geopark. Below are the reports:

Visitor Survey
In 2014 the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark undertook a visitor survey at seven demonstration sites. The attached report provides details of their findings.

An Cabhail Mhór 3D laser Survey
Through the GeoparkLIFE project we invested in a 3D laser imaging survey of An Cabhail Mhór. The survey provided highly detailed 3D images of the structure. Far more detailed than the standard tape survey that is often used to record details of structures.
Carron Church 3D laser Survey
Through the GeoparkLIFE project we invested in a 3D laser imaging survey of Carron Church to inform conservation work. The survey provided highly detailed 3D images of the structure. Far more detailed than the standard tape survey that is often used to record details of structures.

Coach Tourism Study
