Geopark Code of Practice for Sustainable Tourism

Training for the Code of Practice for the Burren Ecotourism Network has been very successful so far in 2021, with over 70 local business attendees in our training webinar series. The topics covered in the online webinars are the Geoparks role within UNESCO, local geology, Universal Design in the Geopark and how Leave No Trace principals can support sustainable tourism. We also had training from Fifty Shades Greener on how to improve waste management, and water and energy consumption. We look forward to developing the code of practice training and working with local businesses in 2021.
